Kilt Hose

As with the other parts of the highlanders attire, no outfit is complete without the Kilt hose. Kilt hose comes in the standard Lovat colors, oatmeal, green, gray, white and blue. As with the other parts of this spectacular attire the kilt hose is made of wool. Various grades or thicknesses of wool are used in commercially made hose, while hand knit are typically the heaviest and the best quality. The hose is generally made with a symmetrical pattern of a diamond shape or of vertical bands to produce a low/hi pattern. Keep you pattern aligned on your legs and the hose is pulled to a height of just below the knee, no kilt hose can be complete without he use of hose flashes, a small decorative ribbon fastened around the upper part of the calf (which helps hold the hose up), and the remaining hose is folded down to produce a thick top of the layered hose, ensure your tops are of the same depth and the hose are at the same height on both legs for symmetry and you will be the best dressed in any crowd.
